Leo Ritual
Get ready to embrace your inner sunshine! We designed this empowering ritual to be performed during Leo season, particularly during the New Moon in Leo; however, you can perform it anytime you want to harness the playful, big-hearted, and generous nature of Leo or whenever you feel called. Trust your intuition, you are your own guide!
What you’ll need for the Leo ritual:
Leo Crystal & CBD-Infused Body Oil
Leo Crystal & CBD-Infused Bath Bomb
✨ You can get them both at a discount with the Leo Bundle ✨
Cleansing herb (such as sage or palo santo) or incense
Journal, writing utensil, colored pencils, crayons, or paints (get creative!)
Optional: Candles, incense, additional crystals
Note: If you don't have one (or any!) of the tools, use whatever you have on hand. The tools are less important than the intention.
Collect your ritual tools, and run your bath. Get centered and mindful by turning down the lights, and lighting your candles, incense, and/or herb bundle. Be intentional with every step. As your bath fills, cleanse the Sunstone Crystal and CBD-infused bath bomb and Citrine Crystal & CBD body oil with smoke from the herb bundle or incense. As you run your bath bomb through the smoke, hold it in your hand and tune into the joyful energy of the sunstone that empowers us to shine our own unique radiant light, reminding us that life can be so much fun and full of love. Next, cleanse your Citrine and CBD-infused body oil with the smoke and tune into the lucky and optimistic energy of Citrine that promotes creativity, confidence, generosity, and abundance.
Use your intuition to choose an affirmation or mantra to feel into throughout your bath. Suggestions include:
I shine my unique and radiant light.
I embody and share my true authentic self.
I live a playful and creative life.
I lead with my generous heart.
I am confident and creative.
I give and receive freely.
When your bath is filled, place yourself and the bath bomb in the tub. Tune into your senses as you melt into your bath. Watch and listen as the bath bomb fizzes and transforms. Feel the regenerative energy of the sun infusing your bath through the sunstone. Feel your intuition heighten and your authentic self shine through. Breathe in deeply and allow the joyful blend of sweet orange, lemon, geranium, and ylang-ylang to wash over you. Allow the scent of liquid sunshine to align you with your light, your soul, your creativity, and your confidence. Stay in the bath for as long as you feel called, and then unplug the drain. As the tub empties, imagine all blocks to shining your authentic light and any fears holding you back from your creativity and confidence washing down the drain. You may want to repeat, "I release all things that no longer serve me down the drain".
Dry yourself slightly when you get out of the bath. Before you anoint yourself with the Leo Crystal and CBD-infused body oil, rub a dropper-full between your hands, then cup your nose and breathe in deeply through your nose and out through your mouth. Massage gently wherever you feel stress, tension, blocks, or strain. Follow where your intuition guides you. Pay special attention to massaging around your heart, back, and along the spine, as Leo rules these parts of the body.
As you massage, inhale & exhale deeply and feel the creative and abundant energy of Citrine boosting your self-esteem and reminding you to be generous and lead with your heart. Breathe in the blend of scents energize and uplift your spirit as you tap into your optimism and authenticity and let go of anxiety and tension.
When you feel ready, free-write, doodle, paint, draw, or meditate on any or all of the following questions:
Where in my life am I dimming my light? How can I shine brighter and more authentically?
Where do I feel called to be bolder or braver?
If my inner-child was in charge for a day, what would I do?
How can I invite more play into my daily life?
Is there anything I am feeling called to create just for the fun of it?
In what ways can I be more generous? (This could be with my time, energy, attention, love, sharing the spotlight), etc.
What else came up for me during this ritual?
